Our New Baby is Here!!!

Our new baby is here!!! He was born May 19th, 2009 and he is absolutely the most beautiful thing that I have ever seen. We had planned on having him born at Covenant Birthing Center with our midwife Lisa Byrd for a water birth, but my body did not cooperate with me. My water broke on Sunday night the 17th and my body never went into active labor so we had to go to Palmetto Health Richland to have him. We had a wonderful nurse Brandy who did everything that she could for Jeff and I to have the birth that we had hoped for. The birth of our son did not go exactly how we had planned it, but he was born healthy and beautiful and at the end of the day that is all that you can ask for. We named our baby angel James Clark Cowherd. When he was born he weighed 7 lbs 10.6 oz and was 19 1/2 inches long. He is now almost 7 weeks old weighing in at 10 lbs and almost 23 inches long. He is definitely growing too fast. He is our blessing and we adore him.

In 2006 Photos by JeeJee and Esthetique worked on our first calendar project together. We followed the 2006 calendar with a 2007 calendar and have continued in 2008 and 2009 to create beautiful photographic imagery. Esthetique was founded by Deon Brown a graduate of South Carolina State University. It has been lots of fun working with Deon and all of his models. Esthetique LLC was founded in January of 2006 with an objective of providing students and alumni from Historically Black Colleges and Universities a medium into the world of modeling.

These two were meant for each other and look so sweet together!!! We had a great time photographing the engagement session. The save the date magnets were beautiful and their engagement album was turned out amazing! I cannot wait for their wedding day! We are going to have so much fun!

New Baby on the way!!!

For those of you who do not already know, Jeff & I are going to have a BABY!!! We are both very excited and overwhelmed at the thought of a little one of us running around. Our baby is due around the end of May. I have had a great pregnancy so far. I have not been sick or tired. Everything except the growing of my belly is the same.
