Professional Photographers of America National Award

I was honored with the Professional Photographers of America National Award for outstanding service to Professional Photography. The bronze & walnut plaque was presented by the Professional Photographers of South Carolina a PPA Affiliated Association, at our annual convention held February 5th-8th 2011.

The National Award is offered by PPA to State, Regional, National & International affiliated organizations on a yearly basis. First made available in 1958, the award recognizes those persons who generously contribute their time and talents to the service of their profession, their affiliated organization and their fellow photographers. Selections of the award are determined by the recipients peers which adds to its distinction and value.

The PPA is the oldest and largest association of Professional Photographers in the world with headquarters in Atlanta, GA. The association provides educational services and establishes standards of professional performance for its more than 22,000 members and 200 affiliated organizations worldwide.

Dragons & Frogs/SC Lifestyle Photographer

What little boy would not like dragons & frogs. A dragon monogram from Initially Yours Columbia Luggage and some frog goulashes from his Aunt Susan.

This child is such an outside boy. We could stay out there all day, if he did not need to eat & take a nap. Of course, we have been know to eat & nap outside before when the weather is nice.

James Clark's hair is getting so long and strangers are always calling him a girl, but I do not have the heart to cut it. It is one of those milestones that I am just not ready for. I feel like I have blinked and he has gotten so grown. He surprises me everyday at how smart he is.
My cutie pie in his puppy dog applique shirt. He was such a good sport about his valentines photographs, but he sure did cry when I told him it was time to leave. He loves being out in the woods. We started picking up aluminum cans that people throw out on the side of the road and we are recycling them. So when he spots one he says "can, can, can...." until Mama picks it up. It is too sweet.
